Hi everyone,
Christmas is only a few days away so I thought I
would do another Christmas blog post to get into the festive spirit :) I saw this tag whilst
reading through some beauty blogs and thought it would be nice to give it ago
so here are my answers to the questions set:
1.
What is your
favourite thing about Christmas?
I love
everything about Christmas! The food, spending time with family and friends and
of course giving and receiving presents. I love it when you know you’ve got
someone a present that they are going to really like and seeing their face when
they open it.
2. What is your favourite makeup look for the festive
season?
I think Christmas is a good excuse to
up the glamour and glitter and I love adding a bit of sparkle to my makeup at
this time of year. A red lip is also a favourite of mine for Christmas time and
some of my favourite red lipsticks at the moment are Avon’s Ultra Rich Colour
Brilliance lipstick in Vermillion and MAC’s Lady Danger.
3.
Real of fake tree?
For me a real
tree wins every time. This year is my first Christmas living with my boyfriend
and we had many a debate over a real or fake tree but in the end I persuaded
him to get a real one. The only trouble is the tree looked a lot smaller in the
shop but when we got it home it filled half of the living room and touched the
ceiling!
4.
Giving or receiving
presents?
I would be lying
if I said I didn’t like getting presents – who doesn’t?! But as I mentioned
before it’s also fun seeing someone’s face when they really like a present you
have got them. I bought one of my friends a Polly Dolly bag for Christmas this
year (we couldn’t wait and opened them the other day) and she was so excited
and happy when she opened it. It was so nice to see that she loved the present
and she has been using it non-stop since!
5.
Do you open your
presents in the morning or evening?
Usually I
open my presents from my parents first thing in the morning and then I open
presents from my boyfriend and family later on when they come round for
Christmas dinner in the afternoon. This year it will probably be the other way
round though as I now live with my boyfriend and not at home.
6.
Handmade or bought
Christmas cards?
I think handmade cards
are lovely but I wouldn’t have time to make them for everyone so I usually buy
them. I do sometimes make cards for birthdays though.
7.
What is your favourite
Christmas film?
This is a tough
one as I have so many favourite Christmas films! If I had to narrow it down
though I would say Elf and The Holiday are the two I watch the most.
8.
What is your
favourite Christmas food!
I think I
mostly love all the nibbles and party food that come out at Christmas time and it’s
a good excuse to eat lots of Chocolate!
