Glitter Nail Varnish Collection

Hi everyone!

I have recently been on a bit of a glitter nail varnish spree and have built up quite a collection which I thought I would share on my blog. I really like glitter nail varnishes for adding a bit of something extra to your nails, either by using them on their own or for adding over the top of another polish. The only downside is that they are so hard to get off but with having acrylic nails I tend to end up getting them filed off when I go and have my infills.

So here are the glitter nail varnishes in my collection....

These varnishes are all Barry M. From left to right - Silver Cascade, Rose Quartz Glitter, Pink Iridescent, Pink Sapphire Glitter, Aqua Glitter and Amethyst Glitter.

Barry M Gold Glitter, Barry M Silver Glitter, Avon Colour Trend Silver Plated, OPI Teenage Dream, Bourjois One Second Polish (I think this is shade 15) and Sinful Colours Frenzy.

Avon Nailwear Pro Pink Radiance, Boots No.7 Milan and Avon Nailwear Pro Ruby Slippers.

I think my favourites in the collection have got to be the OPI Teenage Dream and Barry M Rose Quartz Glitter. The OPI varnish looks fab on its own, although you do have to pile on a few coats to get it really sparkly. The Barry M Rose Quartz looks really nice on top of a pale pink polish such as Jessica in Samba Parade (I have written a NOTD post of this combo here).

I like all the polishes but I think my least favourite is the Gold Glitter from Barry M as it is more of a yellow gold rather than a gold gold if that makes sense? And I just don’t think this one suits me as much as some of the others.

Which glitter polishes are your favourites? Have you tried any of the ones that I have mentioned?
Thanks for reading and hope you’ve all had a lovely bank holiday weekend :) xx

Avon Nail Art Tool!

Helllooo!

If you read my blog you will probably know by now that I love nail art and have been really into trying out different designs recently. That’s why, when I saw this nail art tool in Avon I just had to have it and at only £3 it’s such a bargain too!

The nail art pen has a really thin brush on one end for painting extra detail on the nails and a dotting tool on the other end. Although I love nail art I am by no means the best at it but you can create spotty designs so quickly and easily with this tool. The brush side takes a little bit more practice to get right and I’ll definitely need to stick with it before I get any good at it. Having said that, it is much easier with such a thin brush and you don’t have to go crazy with trying to create super detailed nail art, you can just do something simple but effective.

I just did a couple of quick designs to show you what you can do with the nail art tool. The polishes I have used are Barry M Dragon Fruit (pink), Natural Collection white, Avon Nailwear Pro in Vintage Blue and Luxe Lavender and Revlon Colourstay in Buttercup (yellow).

Have any of you guys tried this nail art pen? I’d love to see the nail art you have created with it if you have :)

Thanks for reading xx

Shoes Shoes Shoes.... Wish List!

Shoes Shoes Shoes....

Hi guys,

I have decided to branch out a bit and do a few more fashion related posts and I thought I would start with my shoe wish list. I am a massive shoe addict and there are so many pairs of shoes on my wish list at the moment that this post could go on forever! I’ve managed to narrow it down to a few favourites though to share on my blog :)

1.    Topshop Sylvie Knot Front Heels (£65) – I absolutely love red shoes but unfortunately my favourite pair got ruined in the rain as they are suede and I just don’t think I can rescue them. For that reason I have been on the lookout for a gorgeous new pair of red heels and fell in love with these ones as soon as I saw them!

2.    Faith Blue High Platform Square Court Shoes (£40 reduced from £50) - I love the bright blue colour of these shoes from Faith at Debenhams and think they will be fab for summer. Debenhams Summer Spectacular sale is on at the moment so there is 20% off as well until Sunday :)

3.    New Look Black Crochet Wedges (£25) – These wedges are gorgeous but I know now that they won’t fit as I have weirdly narrow feet.

4.    Faith Pale Yellow Perspex Heel Court Shoes (£48 reduced from £60) – I really like the heel on these shoes and think they are just something a bit different. They are also available in white and blue which are really nice as well.

5.    Faith Lace Up Boots (£40 reduced from £60) - I have wanted some boots like these for a while but didn’t find any for ages. The only thing that puts me off buying them is the fact that summer is on its way so I probably wouldn’t get much wear out of them for a while; I still love them though!

6.    Miss KG Misty Flip Flops (£25) – I think these flip flops are so pretty, I love the bow on the top! They come in a couple of different colours but for me the black would go with most of my outfits :)

7.    Dune Allegro Court Shoe (£79) – I could do with a really nice nude shoe to add to my collection and these would fit the bill perfectly. They are a little on the pricey side but I think they would last me a long time and are a staple item in the shoe wardrobe!

So there you have my shoe wish list! I hope you like some of the shoes I have picked and the idea of including some more fashion on my blog :)

Thanks for reading xx
