Love - Patterned Trousers

Hi everyone,

I have always been a jeans kind of girl when it comes to trousers, preferring either denim or a skirt or dress. Recently however, I have developed a bit of a love for patterned trousers. This new obsession began at the end of last year when I got a new job and had to wear their product as a uniform. They had loads of ‘jazzy’ trousers as I like to call them and since then I seem to have built up a bit of a collection. I thought I would share my new found love on my blog as I have seen quite a few nice trousers on the high street over the last few weeks.

Infinity Dreams Awards

Hi everyone,

I was very kindly nominated to take part in the Infinity Dream awards by the lovely Kirsty from Miss ApplecrumblesBlog. I was actually thinking about writing a ‘ten facts about me’ post or something along those lines to maybe help anyone who reads my blog to get to know me a little better so this nomination has come at a fab time. Thank you so much for the nomination Kirsty, it really made my day to see that I had been asked to take part.

11 facts about me

1)   I have only just recently tried a cup of tea and now I’m addicted!

2)   I love to read and my favourite author is Sophie Kinsella.

3)   I can play the flute and piano but would like to start up piano lessons again.

4)   I am currently looking for a new house. I find house hunting so stressful though.

5)   I wish I had more time for blogging but day to day life often gets in the way :(

6)   I am a true girly girl and love anything pink and sparkly.

7)   My favourite makeup brand is Nars.

8)   I always have acrylic nails but wish I’d never started getting them done as my nails were pretty decent in the first place and now they are ruined!

9)   I am allergic to cream.

10)   I really want a house rabbit.

11)   I’m so rubbish when I’m too tired and basically just stop functioning!

My answers to the questions set by Kirsty

1)   What is your favourite day of the week?

I think I have to say Sunday as I usually work Saturdays and this is the only day of the week that I get off with my boyfriend :)

2)   Which is your least favourite season?

This is a tough one for me as I like both winter and summer for different reasons and then autumn and spring I just see as in between seasons really! Right now I think I’d say winter though because I am so bored of being cold all the time and really want to get all of my summer clothes out!

3)   Who is your favourite actor?

I love Richard Gere and think he is really good in so many films. Not to mention that Pretty Women is one of my all-time favourites!

4)   Could you live without TV?

If I had to then I think I could live without TV but I would certainly miss it. I watch far too much television and it takes up so much of my time trying to keep up with all the series I watch.

5)   What is your most visited website?

Bloglovin’ for keeping up to date with all the blogs I read :)

6)   What is your greatest achievement?

I always find this a really tough question to answer. I think I’d have to say my degree. I know a lot of people say the same about their degree but I really didn’t enjoy university and came close to dropping out so many times so I’m proud of myself for sticking at it.

7)   Do you have any pets, or what pet would you have?

My mum has a Westie called Frankie and I kind of class him as mine as well because she got him when I still lived at home. I love him to bits although he can be a bit of a handful. I also really want a house rabbit!

8)   Do you have a favourite item of clothing?

Not really but I do get attached to clothes and think that they hold memories. I had a clear out not long ago and had to be really tough as I tend to keep hold of clothes that I’m never going to wear again just because I can remember wearing it for a special occasion or something.

9)   Name of thing you would love to do which scares you?

Leave my job and start all over again doing something that I love like a makeup artistry course. It scares me though because the course that I want to do is a lot of money and I would be worried about not having a steady income.

10)       What is your favourite place to go?

Paris! I have been a few times now and every time I go I just love it and think it’s so magical.

11)       Do you have something which you do to cheer you up on a bad day?

Run myself a nice Lush bath, light some candles and relax with a good book.
