NOTD OPI Chick Flick Cherry

Hi everyone,

Firstly, I hope you like the changes to my blog so far! I recently decided it was time for a change and I'm really excited for the new look to come together. There's some more things which will be added over the next few weeks including the addition of some colour to brighten everything up a bit and also a new logo. Let me know what you think and I hope you'll all bear with me if some things are a bit out of sync for the time being.

For today's post I wanted to share with you another new addition to my nail polish collection. This gel polish is a gorgeous deep red shade which is perfect for autumn and winter and one I'll be wearing a lot for Christmas parties and over the festive season. I know when I have applied a gel polish from OPI I will easily get at least three weeks wear without it chipping or peeling which saves me so much time redoing them. If you have read my blog before, you will know my love for OPI so I won't keep repeating myself but I am honestly in love with this colour and wanted to share it.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and I will be back next week with my thoughts on the Dermalogica Oil Control Lotion.

I hope you're all having a great weekend and thank you for stopping by.
Hannah xx

  1. That is a beautiful shade of red! I have never tried gel polish from OPI, do you need a UV light to cure it?

    1. You do need a UV light but you can get them for a fairly good price on Amazon now :) I guess it depends how much you would use it but in the long run I think it has saved me money on going to get my nails done professionally x

I'm loving what you're doing with the site and can't wait to see how it looks when it's all finished! Thanks so much for sharing, gorgeous, and I hope you're having the best start to your week so far!

    1. Thank you so much Jalisa :) There's a few issues that need fixing with the site yet but hopefully once it's all done it will look great. I'm glad you like the nail polish and thank you for your comment on the shape of them. I think I will be wearing this polish a lot over autumn and winter as it has quickly become a firm favourite! x

    1. Yes the OPI gels are a little bit more expensive but they are very good quality and I love the shine they give. I think it probably helps that I have acrylic nails as gels and polishes do tend to last a bit longer on them but I know people that use them on their natural nails and they get really good wear from them too :) x

    1. 3 weeks is so good, I usually get bored of the colour before it comes off! I do think it lasts longer because I have acrylic nails but I have friends that use it on natural nails and it lasts so long on theirs too :) x

  7. Wow three week! I have to look into OPI and their gel range. I love OPI period so it makes sense they'd kill it in gels too

  9. Wow, 3 weeks without chopping? I must try the OPI gel, although I have never had gelish on my nails. The colour is very bright and perfect for the weather outside. Your nails look great. Congrats on the new blog design, it looks much more better now!

    1. Thank you so much, I'm glad you like the new blog design :) The only thing to be careful of with gel polishes is to not pick them off or they can damage your natural nails a little. If you soak them off properly though I think they are great and you save time as you don't have to do them as often! x
